Finance Assistant
Requirements
- At least Diploma holder; preferred in finance, accounting & business administration
- Proficiency in accounting software, MS Excel and other MS Office applications
- Fast learner and detail oriented
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
- Ability to perform accurately and methodically following published procedures
- Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia
Responsibilities
- Supports the financial operations of an organization by performing administrative, managing financial records and clerical tasks. This role requires accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail, along with strong organizational and communication skills
- Preparing payment advice and payment vouchers for all transactions and key-in payment in BIZTRAK Accounting Software
- Keep track on all accounts payable balances, to be able to loop in case of any adjustment needed before month close end
- Review monthly reconciliations on Bank/Cash, payroll Control, Accruals / Accruals Schedules, Prepayments and Miscellaneous accounts.
- To check all relevant transactions are included in the project General Ledger (GL)
- Perform accurate filing of documents, including invoices, receipts, reports and any correspondence document
