Objectives

The project’s main objective is to provide primary health care to the needy. Its focus is on antenatal care (ANC), post-natal care (PNC), family planning, neonatal care, vaccinations, obstetrics and paediatrics.

Ran the clinic by 18 local staff – 3 doctors, 3 midwives, 2 vaccinators, a pharmacist, lab technician, receptionist, driver, 2 security guards, 4 cleaners.

Accomplishments

Since the project was implemented in June 2003, it has treated 14,276 patients in 2003, 30,619 patients in 2004, 27,820 patients in 2005, 36,164 patients in 2006, 43,566 patients in 2007 and 15,578 patients from January to April 2008.
